The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Optimism Index stabilized and rose in February. With the government shutdown in the rearview, small businesses remain upbeat about the economy.
Empire State Manufacturing Survey for March 2019 Reports Slight Growth
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York released its Empire State Manufacturing Survey for March 2019 and reports business activity grew slightly. The headline general business conditions index fell. New orders increased marginally while shipments grew modestly while delivery times and inventories held steady.

Not much worthwhile economic news to report to you this week. I continue to watch the comedy developing in the Democratic party, from the projected cost (you know that is bullshit) of $90 TRILLION for the Green New Deal, which will take away your money, your car, airplane travel, apparently cows and a host of other rights and freedoms we currently enjoy, to Beto O’Rourke skateboarding for the children (why do you think they want to grant 16 year old children the right to vote?) and playing guitar for the kids, to the radical Muslims who have been elected to Congress, to the old pervert Joe Biden, sitting on the fence. What is worrisome about this is that the Democrats, having no moral compass, have no hesitation in trying to make this happen.

I will track these campaign promises and will check them off as each is accomplished adding those I have missed as they become apparent. This is quite an agenda and will be difficult to achieve all in one term, but I believe the American people are behind him and know these things need to be done. Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
