Industrial Production Strongest 12-Month Change Since 2010

The industrial production STRONGEST 12-month change since 2010, rose 0.4% in August and is up 4.9% over the past year. NBER

US Raw Steel Production Rose Last Week

US raw steel production rose 0.5% last week to an ACUR of 80.2% (it’s been quite awhile since we have seen this- good stuff). In the corresponding week last year mills operated at an ACUR of 73.4%. Thus far this year mills have produced prox 65,000,000 tons compared to the prox 62,000,000 tons produced in the like period last year.

September 11 Remembrance

Where were you? What were you doing on September 11, 2001? Today, 9/11/18, we offer a moment of silence to remember those brave American men and women who lost their lives or were injured in the cowardly terrorist attack perpetrated on the USA 17 years ago. Hurricane Florence

The news this week has been dominated by Hurricane Florence as she barrels towards the Carolinas. On Wednesday she was a CAT 4 hurricane. Today, Thursday, as she inches closer to landfall, expected later this evening, she has been downgraded to a CAT 2 hurricane (or is that now a tropical storm?). They are expecting 30″-40″ of rain with a 10-15′ storm surge from the roiling Atlantic Ocean. This is still not a lady to be ignored.

Disregard Pre-Election Polls

Here we go with the pre-election polls. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PROPAGANDA!!! They will stammer about the blue wave, they will lie about approval ratings, they will lie about how most people dislike the tax cuts, they dislike the direction the president is taking the country. All bullcrap. Remember what they said in 2016, Hillary was a shoe-in.

I believe the American people are much smarter than this. They see their wages rising, they see they have a good paying job, they see more of their money in their paychecks, they see a vibrant economy, their military being made the most awesome power on the planet, they see efforts to tame ILLEGAL immigration, they see that were it not for leftist resistance, immigration reform would already be done, the tax cuts would have been greater and we may have had an infrastructure bill… though currently, the economy is so strong that we do NOT have enough laborers to work the projects. Maybe next term…

Hurricane Maria Death Toll Debate

Jut an FYI, the accusations by the left that Trump is lying about the deaths resulting from Hurricane Maria are a total lie. These are Washington University computer model estimates of possible deaths resulting from such a storm. How do these self-serving, lying, cheating idiots get away with this crap? So frustrating. He will be accused of crucifying Jesus before the mid-terms (somewhat of a stretch, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least)

Now, if he can get our legislators to support him instead of fighting him….
